Season Four at the Borough Bandshell started off with weather delays and rescheduled dates but has hit full stride ever since, bringing large crowds to see outstanding shows. This Thursday, August 22nd , the Bandshell welcomes to the stage the Journey Experience, the Metropolitan area’s number one Journey tribute band. Founded by lead guitarist Joseph Cumia and featuring the vocals of Gene Marchello, the band covers the range of Journey songs from early rockers to memorable ballads. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. There will be food trucks on hand so come early to enjoy the evening.

On Sunday, August 25th, the Bandshell, in partnership with the Municipal Alliance, presents the original Disney classic, the Lion King. This coming of age story features characters and music all have come to know and love. The Municipal Alliance, which focuses on providing education and encouraging family alternatives to drug and alcohol abuse, will provide popcorn and give-aways. The movie starts at 8:00 p.m.

The season concludes on September 8 th with Fight for Autism IV. Classic rock music performed for a cause will be presented by Hawthorne High School graduates and current students.
