With immense interest in the health and safety of our guests, staff, and community, the Passaic County Department of Cultural & Historic Affairs will temporarily close its museums and arts center – effective immediately – amid growing COVID-19 concerns.

  • Passaic County Arts Center at the John W. Rea House (Hawthorne, NJ)

  • Westervelt-Vanderhoef House (Clifton, NJ)

  • Hamilton House Museum (Clifton, NJ)

It is our responsibility to exercise caution and implement preventative measures to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We are following public health officials’ guidelines and protocols, which include increased sanitation procedures.

Permitted events and programming at the sites listed above have been temporarily suspended. An announcement will be made once a reopening date has been determined.
