HAWTHORNE, NJ - Messages of thanks, notes of hope and even Easter greetings appeared in town, photographed by TAPinto Hawthorne contributor Judy Kopitar.  Colorful sidewalk art has become a regular fixture, even encouraged by Mayor Goldberg in a recent letter to the borough, keeping spirits up.

A sign thanking first responders was seen along Goffle Road, while another encouraging people to stay safe and positive was seen on Rea Avenue.
