PROSPECT PARK, NJ - Mayor Mohamed Khairullah released a statement today announcing a confirmed case of coronavirus in the borough.  His letter came the same day as Haledon Mayor Stampone and North Haledon Mayor George reported a 46 year old educator at Eastern Christian High School was presumptive positive.  In Hawthorne, Mayor Goldberg confirmed there was a case on Wednesday, but as yet no further details are available.  Mayor Khairullah and the Office of Emergency Management were able to share some details in an official message, which reads below.

I regret to inform you that we have received confirmation from Passaic County Health Officials and the Prospect Park Board of Health of the first presumptive positive Coronavirus (COVID-19) test of a Prospect Park resident. The individual is a 21-year old female with no school aged children.
