PROSPECT PARK, NJ - Mayor Mohamed Khairullah announced Thursday night that on Friday, April 3, at 7:00 p.m., the borough will blast the Prospect Park fire whistle 19 times.  The siren will "Honor our police, fire, EMS, and healthcare professionals as they continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in our community."

Tagged with #ProspectParkStrong, the statement also recognized the Office of Emergency Management, Emergency Management Services, Nurses, CNAs, home health aids, and dispatchers.

As of March 31, the Passaic County Department of Health reported 13 cases of coronavirus in Prospect Park.
