PROSPECT PARK, NJ - Mayor Mohamed Khairullah announced on Thursday that the borough would be hosting a Drive-Through Celebration for the borough's graduating eighth graders at Hofstra Park.

"8th grade graduates are not an afterthought," Khairullah said through social media.  "They are the center of our celebration. I am honored, along with my colleagues on the council to do a drive through graduation that is fitting of this amazing class."

The celebration will be held on Saturday, July 11, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  To enforce social distancing, students and their families must remain in their cars.  In the event of rain, the celebration will be held the following day, Sunday, July 12.
