HAWTHORNE, NJ - Homero Mendoza of Hawthorne, 32, father of two and boyfriend to Erica Torres, suffered a tragic accident on June 2 whole working as a foreman on a Mahwah family's pool, according to Troy Longo of Acqua Pools. The pool filter explosion sent Mendoza into emergency brain surgery after suffering a head injury.
