HAWTHORNE, NJ - The borough of Hawthorne announced that a special meeting of the council and mayor will be held on Monday, April 27, at 7:00 p.m.  On the agenda is R 56-20 "Reduce Delinquent Tax Rate" following Mayor Goldberg's letters to the borough that he was looking to provide interest rate relief for residents during the coronavirus pandemic which has affected the livelihoods of all residents.
