HAWTHORNE, NJ - While the Environmental Commission/Green Team has completed its Bird Walks for the time being, that has not stopped Green Team member and gifted wildlife photographer Holly Cowen from capturing the sights around town.  She has shared some of her snaps, featuring a resident hawk nicknamed "Hollywood" owing to his propensity to flaunt it for the lens. 

And, Cowen says, it looks like "Hollywood" has found a co-star.  As one photo shows a red winged blackbird diving in on the couple, it seems even avian bird celebrities get their share of harassment.  (One wonders how wise that particular move was on the part of the blackbird.)

Additionally, she caught a local cardinal family, including a chick, on film.  Her pictures are displayed in the photo carousel above.
