HAWTHORNE, NJ - When a Hawthorne resident found a new family on the premises, a call went to TAPinto Hawthorne contributor Judy Kopitar to come out and take a look.  "When I got a call about a baby deer that was hiding in the bushes, I could not resist," Kopitar said.

To avoid frightening the mother and fawn, she used a 300 millimeter lens to take the pictures at a distance.  The fawn was "taking very wobbly steps" and now counts among the newest Hawthorne residents.
