HAWTHORNE, NJ – Alisha Cornett wants your vote for Ms. Health & Fitness 2019 as she competes, now in the semi-final round, for a chance to take the top prize.

Cornett believes in sharing the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.  “I’ve been involved in sports in Hawthorne for my whole life,” she told TAPinto.  She has entered competitions to further healthy living and fitness for herself, but also for others, and works to achieve this through entrepreneurship.  Cornett is the owner and founder of “Get Fitty,” a personal wellness business which she wants to continue to grow and develop.  “I make meal plans for people, I’m a personal trainer, and help people get fit.”

With enough votes, Cornett would be featured on the cover of “Muscle and Fitness Hers Magazine” and win a $20,000 prize.  “I would apply it towards my business and helping other people,” she said, “I want to get my own studio one day.  I’m trying to help as many people as I can and not that many gyms let you go in and out of them.”

The semi-final round ends Wednesday, August 14.  She is in 2nd place as of 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
