HAWTHORNE, NJ - The Hawthorne Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary announced that on Sunday, December 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Santa Claus will be escorted through the borough for the annual "SantaRun".  Blazing sirens and flashing lights will announce his arrival and passage through the streets, making stops at Washington, Roosevelt, and Jefferson Elementary Schools as well as Lincoln Middle School.

"Thank you to all who have reached out asking if he will be coming around and adding your street to his list," the Fire Department said through a statement. "It's great to see so many people still looking forward to this annual tradition!  The Hawthorne Fire Department is an emergency service and could be called during the SantaRun. We cannot guarantee that the SantaRun will travel down your street but we will make every effort to."

Residents can follow along with event updates at the Hawthorne Fire Department, NJ Faceook page and use the "Magical GPS Santa Tracker" to find out where Kris Kringle is during his Hawthorne visit.
