HAWTHORNE, NJ - A Hawthorne girls soccer coach, Jason Crawford, was overseeing a practice when an unknown man was allegedly spotted watching and taking pictures on Monday evening.  "The incident happened fast," Crawford told TAPinto Hawthorne.  "As the girls were practicing, my daughter and another teammate pointed out that they saw this man taking pictures of the girls on the field."

Concerned for their safety, Crawford sprung to action.  "I ran the parking lot to check him out.  As I got there, he was pulling away."  The individual was apparently driving a dark green Jeep Cherokee.  "I took photos of his license plate and yelled I was calling the police.  He left the property."  Crawford reported the incident to the Hawthorne Police Department.

When asked if he could describe the person taking the pictures, Crawford said he "didn’t get a good look at him."
