The Hawthorne Police Department will be sponsoring the “Bicycle Registration Program” on Saturday, July 18, from 11am-3pm in the parking lot of the Hawthorne Municipal Building.
The goal of the program is to record the owners information and description of the bicycle, and then the underside of the bicycle will have a serial number engraved on it so that if it is lost or stolen and then recovered, it could be matched and returned to the owner. Free bicycle locks will given to all registrants while supplies last.
Please bring a mask, as all social distancing guidelines will be followed. Any questions, or if you cannot make it on July 18th, contact Sgt. Matt Nedswick at 973-427-1800 or MNedswick@hawthornepdnj.org
