HAWTHORNE, NJ - The Junior Police Academy hosted by the Hawthorne Police Department is on again, according to the borough of Hawthorne. 

The police have partnered with the Municipal Alliance and the Hawthorne Boys and Girls Club to continue the Junior Police Academy, a free program for seventh and eighth graders to acquaint them with the workings of law enforcement.  Applications can also be obtained at the Boys and Girls Club, or at the Police Department, and must be returned by Friday, March 8.

The first of six courses is set to begin at 7:00 p.m., March 16, in the Lincoln Middle School cafeteria.
