SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING FORMAT OF THE MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2020 REGULAR SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF PROSPECT PARK


PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that due to the public health emergency in the State of New Jersey, as declared in Executive Order 103, the Borough will be altering its normal meeting procedures for its regularly scheduled Mayor and Council meeting on Monday, June 15, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. and will conduct its public meeting by and through the means of electronic communications equipment as permitted by the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(b). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to follow best practices recommended by the United States Center for Disease Control, the public meeting will be conducted electronically, by virtual means. Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting electronically and/or telephonically.

When you enter the meeting as an Attendee your audio will initially be muted until public comment is invited. Public comment will be held in the order identified on the June 15th meeting agenda.

Members of the public will have the ability to provide public comments during this meeting. Information and the details regarding the virtual meeting and the details regarding participation, attendance and public comment thereat will be available on the Borough of Prospect Park website at: www.prospectpark.net/pp/


The Mayor and Council will take formal action at this meeting.

The Borough is utilizing this format in an effort to mitigate the chance of exposure to COVID-19, as a part of the Borough’s ongoing effort to slow the rate of transmission and avoid overwhelming our treatment centers.
