Ciattarelli Releases Five Years of Income Tax Returns

New Jersey Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, R-16th, a resident of Hillsborough and Somerville business owner, is a candidate in the Republican Gubernatorial primary June 6th.

SOMERVILLE, NJ - Unlike Democratic gubernatorial candidate Phil Murphy, who limited press access and hid his tax returns from New Jersey taxpayers, Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli, an entrepreneur and Main Street business owner has made good on his promise to provide complete transparency, posting five years of tax returns on his web site for the press and public to inspect.

"Phil Murphy's tax return disclosure or lack thereof was an embarrassment. His unwillingness to provide unfettered access to his tax returns makes you wonder what he has to hide," said Ciattarelli, a resident of Hillsborough.

"Just as I’ve always provided my investors and clients with a plan, I’ve been very transparent in providing voters with a comprehensive and bold plan to fix our state," he added.  "In that same spirit, today I am making good on a promise for complete transparency by providing five years’ tax returns on my web site for anyone to review.”

Ciattarelli shows an adjusted income slightly over $1.1M for 2016; the income is derived from his medical publishing business, investments and rent from a building he owns at 166 W. Main St.

“As the grandson of immigrants, I have been, with the support of my wife, very fortunate to achieve the American Dream through hard work and sacrifice," the candidate said.

"As Governor, my top priority will be confronting and solving the economic and fiscal crises facing our state so that every single citizen has equal opportunity to achieve their American Dream right here in New Jersey," added Ciattarelli.
