Ciattarelli Wins Essex County GOP Line, Adds to Endorsements


SOMERVILLE, NJ – GOP Gubernatorial candidate Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, R-16th, has been endorsed by the Essex County Republican Committee and will run on the county line in the June primary election.

"Earning the endorsement of Chairman Barlas and the Essex County Republicans continues what has been an exciting and successful week for our campaign as momentum continues to grow up and down the state,” said Ciattarelli. a Hillsborough resident now serving his third term in the state Assembly. “I am grateful and humbled by their confidence in me and my candidacy."

Ciattarelli has already won the GOP Party line endorsements in Somerset, Mercer, Union and Burlington counties. He has also won screening votes from the GOP in Middlexex and Hunterdon counties.

Ciattarelli will face Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno in the GOP June Primary election.
