 Robertson provided the following account:

The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force was tipped that two men in a white pick-up truck would arrive at the Manville Walmart parking lot in a white pickup truck with cocaine March 17th.

Task Force members along with members of the Manville Police Department set up surveillance; at  7:30 p.m. they saw a white pickup truck occupied by the two suspects drive in to the Walmart parking lot.

Detectives approached the men and advised them of the ongoing narcotics investigation. Torres was identified as the driver of the vehicle; Romero-Rosa was the front seat passenger.

Torres gave permission to detectives to search his pickup truck. The search resulted in the seizure of approximately three ounces of cocaine located in the cup holder of a child’s booster seat.
