Crime Stoppers Offers Reward in Armed Robbery

SOMERVILLE, NJ - Crime Stoppers of Somerset County, Inc. is offering a $250 cash reward for information regarding the identity and whereabouts of the individual responsible for an armed robbery of a convenience store in Warren Township on March 26.

Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson provided these details:

The suspect, a white male, approximately 50 years old, wearing dark clothing, light colored tactical boots and a white baseball hat entered the store at 8:39 p.m., approached an employee and demanded cash while displaying a handgun.

The victim complied with the suspect’s demands and gave him an undisclosed amount of currency from the cash register.  The suspect fled from the store on foot in an unknown direction.

Detectives have released still images obtained from surveillance camera footage and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.  Detectives urge the public not to approach the suspect as he may be armed with a firearm.
