HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The rain came close Tuesday, but failed to drench opening night of the ninth annual Hillsborough Rotary Fair, which continues Wednesday night through Sunday, Aug. 21.

The fair will will feature a 20-minute fireworks show on Friday night, Aug. 19.

Wednesday's temperatures are expected to slide down into the upper 70s when the sun goes down.

The fair is held at the township field adjacent to the Lowes Hillsborough Promenade, 315 Route 206.

The carnival attracts approximately 15,000 people each year, and is one of the township’s largest and most popular annual community events. Fair proceeds go directly to support a variety of Hillsborough community organizations and projects.  

The Rotary Fair features 21 amusement rides by Majestic Midway Amusements, games by Paladin Amusements, a DJ, a wide selection of food, various displays by area vendors and a petting zoo.

Featured rides include the Himalayan, Bumper Cars, Ring of Fire, Super Shot, Sizzler, Zipper, Carousel, Kite Flyer and many more.
