Friends of the Hillsborough Library Sell Books, CDs, DVDs

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ  - The best bargains in town will be found this weekend at the Hillsborough Library.

The Friends of the Hillsborough Library will host their annual used book and media sale on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 22 from 1:30-4 p.m.

Members of the non-profit organization have been collecting donations throughout the year, and have spent hours unloading boxes, crates and bags full of books, CDs, DVDs and magazines this week in preparation for the sale.

The books are presented by category on tables set up in the conference room adjacent to the library at the municipal complex, 379 South Branch Road.

The huge selection includes recent used books for adults, children, and teens, as well as electronic media.

Some of the categories of books for sale include: current fiction, sci-fi, romance, history, biography, sports, science, business, cooking, crafts, gardening, textbooks, reference, holiday, literature, self-help, and much more. There will be DVDs of movies and TV series for adults and children, as well as many music CDs, books on CD, and games.

Prices are rock bottom - $1 for children's books, $1 for paperbacks, $2 for hardcovers, $3 for textbooks, Books on CD, $2, Music CDs, $1, DVDs, $2 and magazines, 25 cents.

All proceeds of the sale support SCLSNJ's Hillsborough Library branch.
