Hillsborough 4H'ers Participate in Rutgers Leadership Conference

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – Six members of the Somerset County 4-H will join 51 other middle-school age youth representing 11 counties participating in the Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Leadership Conference March 18 on the G.H. Cook Campus at Rutgers University.

Hannah Golden and Andrew VanLangen of Hillsborough are members of the Somerset County contingent.  

The Discover the Leader in You! 4-H Leadership Conference will provide an opportunity for middle-school age youth to learn about and develop leadership knowledge and skills through large and small group interactive workshops and hands-on activities.

In addition, conference participants will meet 4-H’ers from across New Jersey; make new friends; and gain valuable life skills including understanding self, communicating, getting along with others, decision making, and working with groups.

      Middlesex County – Amelia Dsouza, Annabella Sefa, and Kathryn Williams

      Monmouth County – Shawn Hill, Elika Jaromi, Emily O’Conner, Jordan Paoello, and Jacqueline Tanzi

      Morris County – Marissa Cogan, Mahi Gupta, Rylan Masterson, and Sahil Shah

      Somerset County – Evelyn Chuo & Maxwell Chuo from Clinton, Hannah Golden from Hillsborough, Kelson Lowrie from Somerset, Mike Powell from Branchburg, and Andrew VanLangen from Hillsborough.
