Hillsborough Community Night at TD Bank Ballpark Includes Auction of Game-Worn Jerseys and Fireworks


BRIDGEWATER, NJ - An auction of game-used Somerset Patriots jerseys and a fireworks display will highlight "Hillsborough Community Night" at TD Bank Ballpark Friday, July 7th.

The Patriots will play the Sugar Land Skeeters; game time is 7:05 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Hillsborough Mayor Carl Suraci will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

The commemorative jerseys, a tribute to the USA, will be worn by members of the Somerset Patriots during the July 7th Friday night game.

During the game, which is sponsored by Operation Shoebox New Jersey, fans can purchase tickets and drop them into a bucket with the name of their favorite Patriot(s).

Tickets will be drawn from the buckets near the end of the game. The names of the winners will be posted on a notice board next to the Operation Shoebox New Jersey display table.

The jerseys will be signed by the players in the clubhouse following the game, bagged, and brought upstairs to be presented to the winner

Discounted tickets are available for Hillsborough residents at a cost of $8.50. All-you-can-eat Barbecue tickets afe available at $26.
