Hillsborough Dukes Cheer Squads Honored for Award-Winning Seasons

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The Hillsborough Dukes JV cheerleaders and the Hillsborough Dukes Pee Wee cheerleaders were honored by the Township Committee at a recent meeting for their successful seasons.

The Dukes JV cheerleaders placed first at the Jersey Valley Conference competition and ranked third out of ten at the Eastern Region competition, while the Dukes Pee Wee cheerleaders were Jersey Valley Conference champions, New Jersey State champions, Eastern Region champions and rated second best in the nation.

The 2017 Hillsborough Dukes JV cheerleaders include Jada Alicea, Robin Chan, Amanda Gianetti, Giselle Foy, Tiffany Kelly, Kayla Kirk, Marissa Morris, Leilane Torres and Zoe Yacka.

The squad was led by Head Coach Nicole Figliolo, assistant coaches Kelly Black, Noelle Creekmur, DeShaun Creekmur, Roxanna Foy, Danielle Scott and Vanessa Vidal and junior coach Samantha Compell.

The 2017 Hillsborough Dukes Pee Wee cheerleaders included Keyonie Black, Ashley Figliolo, Sam Flaim, Emily Florek, Natalia Fonzetti, Angelique Gimenez, Abigail Glazewski, Abby Grouss, Gina Kahn, Maya Lewis, Sonia Lips, Emily Margelis, Olivia McCarthy, Kaylee Mezaros, Jozlyn Miranda, Sophia Mistretta, Melanie Muriello, Abby Pastula, Alyssa Petti, Grace Perkins, Reagan Pirog, Haley Ringel, Alexis Scott, Ariel Shvetz, Makaylah Williams, and Isabella Vidal.

The squad was led by head coach Noelle Fonzetti-Creekmur, and assistant coaches Kelly Black, DeShaun Creekmur, Nicole Figliolo, Dana Margelis, Danielle Scott and Vanessa Vidal. Junior coaches are Cailin Dugan, Alexia Gimenez, Ashley Schuttner and Jessica Tuck.
