Hillsborough Elementary Schools Get High Grades from National Rating Service

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – Four of the township’s elementary schools are included in a list of the Top 200 grade schools in New Jersey by a national service that rates the quality of public schools K-12, colleges, best neighborhoods and other quality of life issues.

Earlier this year, niche.com selected the Hillsborough school district as one of the best in New Jersey.

The Hillsborough school district was ranked number 21 in the state by Niche.com, based on a broad set of criteria, including feedback from students and parents, grades, extra-curricular opportunities, teachers, facilities, even cafeteria food.

The latest ratings by the online company, headquartered in Pittsburgh, ranked the elementary schools as follows: Triangle School 85, followed by the Amsterdam School, 113, Hillsborough Township Elementary, 137, and Woods Road School 173.

Four Hillsborough elementary schools made the Top 100 List in 2016.

Niche rated Hillsborough Township Elementary School 77, followed by Sunnymead Elementary School, 81; Amsterdam Elementary School, 86, and Woods Road Elementary School, 90.
