HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – The popular Farm to Table Market at Duke Farms reopens for the 2017 season on Sunday, May 21 on the grounds of the Visitors Center off Duke Parkway West.

Dozens of vendors with fresh produce, farm products, herbs, dairy, beef, cheeses, wines and crafts will be selling their products from noon-5 p.m. on Sundays through Oct. 29.

“The market demonstrates land stewardship by practicing sustainable growing practices and providing communities with quality, nutritious food which promotes small family farming while protecting our valuable agricultural lands,” said Nora Wagner, director of Programs and Strategic Planning.

The Farm to Table Market began in 2014 by promoting incubator farmers that grow their crops at Duke Farms and a few products grown by local farms in the area.

Here is a list of farmers and other vendors supplied by Duke Farms:

Alstede Farms (www.alstedefarms.com) - Alstede Farms grows homegrown fruits, vegetables, and flowers on over 500 acres of beautiful Garden State farmland; most of which is permanently preserved through the state's Farmland Preservation Program. All of the fresh produce is grown using only sustainable and certified organic growing practices. Alstede Farms is a family owned.

Anna Lee Herbs (http://www.etsy.com/shop/annaleeherbs) - Anna Lee Herbs sells herbal teas, salves, hydrosols, flower essences, bath salts, and salt blends. Most of the herbs contained in their products are from their small farm in Mendham, NJ where they grow their herbs organically.

Better Butter - Better Butter produces compound butters to complement the produce of the season.

Bon Butters & Sweets (www.bonbutters.com) - Bon specializes in artisan nut butters and chocolate. The old school technique and passion behind their treats makes them delicious!

Cherry Gove Farm (www.cherrygrovefarm.com) - Cherry Grove Farm has been in the Hamill family since 1902. It is a diversified,  sustainable dairy farm and creamery situated on 480 acres of woodland, wetland and pasture in Lawrenceville. They make award-winning farmstead cheeses from their grass-fed cows’ milk. Their commitment as a farm is to be transparent, to educate and engage with the community, and reconnect neighbors to the land and the source of their food.

Dogwood Farms (Dogwoodfarmsnj.com) - Dogwood Farms is a USDA certified organic farm owned and operated by Jon and Kim Knox. As a Jersey native, Jon knew the Garden State would be a perfect place for a farm offering fresh produce and meats to families, all grown and raised sustainably in Hillsborough, NJ. With 35 acres leased from Duke Farms, Jon & Kim have built a traditionally diverse farm with fresh produce and pasture-raised meats.

Farmer Meg’s (http://megpaska.com/) - Farmer Meg's offers sustainably grown cut flowers, goat's milk soaps, farm-crafted udder balm, and edible flowers.

Green Duchess Farm (www.greenduchessfarm.com) - Green Duchess Farm is a woman-owned farm specializing in pasture-raised heritage breed pork. All of their animals are raised naturally on pasture, with no antibiotics and no growth hormones. From Bacon to Bratwurst, Green Duchess Farm is your source for delicious, nitrate-free, quality pork.

Hoboken Farms (hobokenfarms.com) - Hoboken Farms specializes in an array of hand crafted, small batch gourmet foods and locally baked artisan breads created in and inspired by our mile square village at the edge of the Hudson River. Hunter’s Family Farm - Hunter's Family Farm is dedicated to providing nothing but the best to their customers and local community. They raise pastured poultry as well as harvest free-range eggs. In the future they plan to expand to grow produce as well as provide a larger variety of locally made and raised products.

Jam’s By Kim (www.jamsbykim.com) - Jams By Kim creates all natural artisanal Jams and Jellies, and use local produce as much as possible. While balancing creativity with tradition and authenticity, Jams by Kim is passionate about capturing real honest flavors in their Jams.

Locktown Farm (www.locktownfarm.com) - Locktown Farm offers live cultured food and drink such as kimchi, sauerkrauts, kombucha, ginger beer, and sassafras root beer. Vegetables are grown organically using no-till methods with a focus on building soil fertility and growing nutrient dense produce.

Nicola’s Pasta Fresca (http://www.nicolaspastafresca.com/) - Nicola's Pasta Fresca creates fresh pasta reminiscent of those made in Italy. Chef Nicola hand selects each ingredient he puts in his pasta. To ensure the freshest quality he buys eggs, dairy, and produce directly from local farmers. All pastas are made from scratch and then hand rolled.

Patricia & Paul Artisans of Fine Oils and Balsamics (http://patriciaandpaul.com/) - Patricia and Paul offers a variety of extra-virgin olive oil and balsamics.

Pickle Licious (www.picklelicious.com) - Pickle Licious is a one of a kind specialty business doing farmers markets, street fairs and festivals for over 25 years. They hand pack their products at the farmers market out of original wooden barrels. They offer a wide variety of pickles, pickled condiments, olives tapenades, relish & their famous KRELISH!

Polnasek Poultry Farm (www.facebook.com/polnasekpoultryfarm) Polnasek Poultry Farm is a small farm that raises chickens on pasture for both eggs and meat. Along with the chickens there are also ducks who produce beautiful eggs that are great for baking!

Rolling Hills Farm (http://www.rollinghillsfarm.org/)  -Rolling Hills Farm is set on 15 acres of land in Lambertville, New Jersey and grows over 100 varieties of fruits, mushrooms and vegetables. They strive to grow the best food possible, using the least amount of inputs. Soul Purpose Farm - Soul Purpose Farm is a small, sustainable farm working to provide a unique array of fresh produce to the community.

Unionville Vineyards (www.unionvillevineyards.com) - Unionville Vineyards has 55 acres of preserved vineyards spread across 5 vineyard locations in Warren, Hunterdon, and Mercer counties. They are one of Food & Wine magazine's top 500 wineries in the United States (2017 Winery Guide).
