Hillsborough Gets an Early Start on July 4th Celebration


HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The township will celebrate the nation's 240th birthday more than a week early.

The annual Independence Day Fireworks Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 25th beginning at 5 p.m. at the Auten Road Intermediate School field.
The celebration will feature a fireworks display at dusk.

There will be a food tent with an All-American menu, featuring pizza, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, kettle corn and more,

Also, a dunk tank, face painting by Melzo the clown, free Inflatable amusements from 5- 8 p.m., Pay to Play Boardwalk games and a DJ playing music from 5-9 p.m.

The family fun celebration begins at 5 p.m.

Shuttle buses will be available, beginning at 5 pm from the Hillsborough High School parking lot.
Rain date is Sunday, June 26th.
