Hillsborough Hires 3 Police Officers

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – Three new officers have joined the township Police Department.

William Gorka, John Johnson and Kevin Kirsh were sworn in by Mayor Gloria McCauley and Police Chief Darren Powell at the Feb. 13 Township Committee meeting.

Gerka, 27, served in the US Navy from 2012-16 and graduated from the Mercer County Police Academy.

Johnson, 21, graduated from the Camden County Police Academy and has been working as a police officer for the Camden police department.

Kirsh, 22, graduated from the Cape May Police Academy in January.
