Hillsborough Hosts Annual Senior Olympics

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The rain-delayed Hillsborough Township Senior Olympics will be held Tuesday, Sept. 26 at the Ann Van Middlesworth Park.

Rain forced cancellation of the event, originally scheduled for Sept. 19.

The Olympics begin at 9 a.m. through 2 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30 am. The event is open to all Hillsborough senior citizens of all fitness levels. Games include bean bag toss, golf, ladder ball, basketball, pickle ball, bocce ball and horse shoes. 

The participation fee is $10 per senior, which includes the Olympic games and a commemorative t-shirt.  All pre-registered participants will also receive a BBQ lunch.  Pre-registration to participate in the Olympics is required. Seniors are invited to contact Social Services at 908-369-3880 to register.
