Hillsborough HS Girls Cross Country Team Receives Proclamation

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The Hillsborough High School Girls Cross Country Team was honored with a proclamation for another successful season by the Township Committee at its Jan. 10 meeting.

The girls were the champions of the Cherokee Challenge Invitational, Central Jersey Group 4 State Sectional Champions and qualified for the prestigious Meet of Champions and finished 7th in New Jersey.

Members of the Hillsborough High School Girls Cross Country Team are: Chloe Wong, Jenny Tavares, Natalie Tavares, Peri Bongiovanni, Kate Van Pelt, Diana Voronin and Brianna De la Cruz.  The team was led by Coach Refi, Coach Hicks and Coach Rudich.
