Hillsborough Library Challenges Youngsters with littleBits, Gadgets and Gizmos

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ  - The Township Library used littleBits, Gadgets and Gizmos to keep youngsters entertained and challenged earlier this week.

The first class in the littleBits Gadgets and Gizmos series was held Sept. 11.

The series is designed for youth to learn about and explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Math concepts and other 21st century technology skills.

littleBits are kits composed of electronic building blocks that are color-coded and magnetic. More than one dozen third- through sixth-grade patrons were challenged to invent a Breezy Buddy using the power, slide dimmer, and fan building blocks.

Park Commission Celebrates Arbor Day wth Free Tree Giveaway
