Hillsborough: Motorists Face Drug and Drunken Driving Charges; 2 Arrested for Shoplifting

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Township police on Friday released the following details on arrests over the past two months:

12/21/2017 – Steven Gallagher, 20, of Langhorne, Pa., was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in his vehicle on Route 206. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued summonses for having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, driving while suspended, tailgating, failing to exhibit vehicle documents and failing to maintain his vehicle lamps. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

12/25/2017 – Denise Wehrle, 53, of Hillsborough, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in her vehicle in the area of Amwell Road and Beekman Lane. She was issued additional summonses for failing to stop for an emergency vehicle, failure to maintain lane, failing to exhibit insurance and careless driving. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

1/1 – Jessy Gonzalez, 23, Raritan, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after his vehicle became disabled on New Centre Road. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a summons for failing to park off the roadway. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

1/2 - Keyshawn Newton, 19, Somerville, was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in his vehicle in the parking lot of 626 Route 206. He was also issued summonses for having CDS in a motor vehicle and failing to maintain his lane. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

1/7 – Kelly Boris, 34, Hillsborough, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Auten Road near the intersection of Wesley Road. She was issued additional summonses for refusing to submit breath samples and speeding. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

1/11 – Devin Kates, 20, Hillsborough, was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in her vehicle on Homestead Road and Route 206. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a summons for having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and for not registering her vehicle. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

1/20 – Deniz Merino-Cruz, 38, Hillsborough, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in his vehicle on Auten Road and Gemini Drive. He was issued additional summonses for reckless driving, driving while suspended, being unlicensed and having open alcohol containers in the vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

1/28 – Travis Hardee, 22, Manville, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in his vehicle on Terhune Lane. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

2/2 – Kief Fromm, 47, Hillsborough, was arrested for shoplifting from Walgreens on Route 206. The value of the merchandise was $61.72. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

2/3 – Xuhong Cheng, 44, Hillsborough, was arrested for shoplifting from the Kohl’s store on Route 206. The value of the merchandise was $149.99. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
