Hillsborough Seeks Scenic Photos for 2018 Calendar

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The Township is again working with Town Planner Calendar to produce a 2018 color calendar that will feature the works of local photographers.

The finished product will be mailed out to every residence in Hillsborough, at no cost to taxpayers as the year comes to a close,, according to Mayor Carl Suraci.

“The printing of the calendar is funded through the various advertisements contained within the calendar,” Suraci said.

The 2017 calendar,  mailed out in December of 2016, includes various schedules, important dates and phone numbers for the coming year as well as twelve photographs featuring Hillsborough Township’s landscape and scenery.

The Township Committee presented certificates of appreciation at a recent meeting to those individuals whose works were selected for the 2017 calendar: Christopher Brake, Carlene Bravo, Helen Haines, Kristi Hakim, Mark Kijek, Luann Schafer, Gary Wiesner, Mike Williams and Milan Rose.

Individuals interested in submitting photographs for consideration for the 2018 calendar can email their high resolution image to the Township Clerk at A photo release will need to accompany the pictures and there is no guarantee that the photo will be used.

“Again, this is a great opportunity to promote local businesses and services as well as enjoy our local scenery all year long,” Suraci said.
