HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - A tractor trailer turning on to Route 206 early Friday morning collided with a car, injuring the driver.

Kevin King Jr., 38, a Raritan resident suffered unspecified injuries and was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick,

He was driving southbound on Route 206 at 4:44 a.m. when he was struck by a tractor trailer driven by Richard Foy of Greenville, Pa., who was making a right hand turn on to Route 206 from Hillsborough Road, according to Hillsborough police. Foy was not injured.

Route 206 was closed for a brief period between Homestead Road and Hillsborough Road as a result of the incident.

Responding units included township police, Fire Departments #37 and #38, Hillsborough Office of Emergency Management, Somerset County OEM, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital paramedics and the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
