HILLSBOROUGH, NJ -Inclement weather has forced the Rotary Club of Hillsborough to cancel Wednesday night's fair.

The five-day event began under cloudy skies the previous everning, but the rain held off.

Located adjacent to the Hillsborough Promenade, 315 Route 206, the Fair transforms the field into a classic carnival with over 20 amusement rides, games of chance, food vendors and local business displays.

Remaining hours are 6-10 p.m. Thursday, and 6-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

In addition to classic thrill rides, including the Himalayan, Bumper Cars, Ring of Fire, Super Shot, Sizzler, Zipper, Carousel and Kite Flyer, a spectacular firework display by Interstate Fireworks and sponsored by Petrock’s Bar & Grille, will light up Hillsborough skies on Friday evening, Aug.16, at 10 p.m. (rain date Saturday Aug. 17).

Thursday and Saturday are one-price ($30) wristband nights with unlimited access to all rides.

All proceeds raised at the fair are returned to the community as contributions to local community service organizations.
