The Civil Rights Roundtable is a joint partnership of several federal, state and local agencies responsible for enforcing civil rights laws and providing community intervention services in Region II, which includes New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The meeting will begin with opening remarks and a keynote address to be made by Paul Fishman, the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey. The meeting will also incorporate panel discussions focused on the civil rights of transgender and gender non-conforming people in housing, employment, education and health care.

Speakers will include Tony Cava, chief administrative officer, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, and Dr. James Salwitz, president of the medical staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

The meeting is open to the public.  Register before July 9 by contacting Nicole Brownstein at nicoleb@pridecenter.org.
