BRIDGEWATER, NJ-   For the second straight night the Somerset Patriots (34-21) defeated the York Revolution (21-34) in walk off fashion, winning 5-4 before 6,970 fans at TD Bank Ballpark on Saturday night.

With two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, Greg Golson’s well-placed single past the third base bag scored Justin Pacchioli for the winning run.

“I was hitting the ball hard all game and they were making some good plays on me,” said Golson. “I just wanted to make sure I was swinging at strikes and didn’t try too hard in that at bat.”
