SOMERVILLE, NJ – The Somerset County Planning Board will host the final public information meeting on the “Supporting Priority Investment in Somerset County Phase 3 Study” on Thursday, June 15, starting at 6 p.m. in the third-floor freeholders’ meeting room in the county administration building at 20 Grove St.

The study is a continuation of a multi-year planning process to support the Somerset County Investment Framework. This effort is being undertaken in partnership with participating municipalities and the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA).

The Phase 3 Study involves a thorough analysis of future land use alternatives for 17 municipal Priority Growth Investment Areas (PGIAs) and Local Priority Areas (LPAs) in Somerset County. The analysis included recommendations for transportation, infrastructure, land use and zoning changes that advance the goals and objectives of the Somerset County Investment Framework and municipal master plans.
