BRANCHBURG, NJ -“Songs of Economic Hardship: Woody Guthrie and the Great Depression," a multi-media program featuring archival footage of the Great Depression will be presented Monday, Oct. 9, from 1-2:20 p.m., at Raritan Valley Community College.
The event, which is free of charge, will be held in the Nash Theatre.
Sponsored by the College’s Humanities, Social Science and Education Department as well as RVCCArts, the program is part of the “Music as a Mirror on History” series.
New York City actor Randy Noojin stars as Woody Guthrie in the one-man show, which will be followed by a question-and-answer session. All seating will be located on stage.
