HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - With temperatures near 70 degrees, Santa opted to leave his sleigh at the North Pole and hopped a ride in a Cessna 172 piloted by Art Madden and landed at Central Jersey Regional Airport to hand out gifts to more than 100 children.

While they waited for Santa to arrive, the children, parents and members of the Hillsborough Rotary Club spent time singing "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

The Santa Fly-in was organized and sponsored by Farzan Saleem and Jodi DiPane, owners of Tri-State Aviation at the airport.
