SOMERVILLE, NJ  - Police and detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office escorted Santa Claus to a party at the Steeplechase Cancer Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital/Somerset where they visited with children and grandchildren of cancer patients.

Santa arrived inside an armored SWAT vehicle.

The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Detectives/ Policemen Benevolent Association’s Local 307 has sponsored the holiday celebration for the past several years.

They collected toys and distributed them to the children and grandchildren at the party.
