FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Work began on June 1 to replace the County Route 518 bridge over the Delaware and Raritan Canal.

Daytime work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, will result in a one-direction closure and detour. The bridge will be closed to eastbound traffic moving toward Route 27 during the daytime, but will re-open after 4 p.m. and on weekends.

Westbound traffic traveling toward Route 206 will be maintained during the daytime work.
