-MANVILLE, NJ –A 35-year-old borough resident has been arrested and charged with armed robbery in connection with an incident in the Market Place Parking lot Sept. 18.

Jennifer Mingle of North 7th Avenue is charged with 1st Degree Armed Robbery and 4th degree Possession of an Imitation Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose, according to Somerset County Prosecuor Michael H. Robertson.

She is being held at the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Robertson provided the following account:

A 23-year old woman called police to report being robbed at gunpoint by an unknown female in the Market Place parking lot at 5:08 p.m. Manville Police responded and conducted the investigation. The victim was able to provide a description of the individual who had forcibly robbed her.

After reviewing surveillance footage, police identified Mingle as the person who committed the armed robbery. On Sept. 23 Mingle was located and arrested by Manville police without incident.
