Touch-a-Truck and Dog Day

The Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center, in Bridgewater, is holding Touch-a-Truck & Dog Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the community, and benefits the JCC Scholarship Fund for special needs programs and services. The event will feature the Trans Stevens Band, dog contests, ask the groomer, ask the vet and complimentary dog dental exams. There will be local animal shelters and rescue agencies with dogs available for adoption. In addition, kids will have the chance to explore a variety of trucks, including emergency and construction vehicles. There will also be inflatables, Playtime Game Truck, face painting, Somerset Patriots mascot Sparkee and more. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks.
