HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Over a year ago, on April 29, 2018, Reanna Nelson was playing in a Hillsborough Soccer Club game while her grandfather, Romano Borgobello, was watching from the sidelines.
Borgobello experienced a medical emergency during the game and two Hillsborough residents and one Edison resident also attending the game came to his aid by performing manual CPR measures.
In the absence of an AED machine on site, the prolonged manual CPR saved Mr. Borgobello’s life. He was fortunate to have qualified, experienced good samaritans on site.
Borgobello has already shown his generosity by donating an AED Defibrillator Device to Hillsborough Township which was permanently installed at the Country Classics Fields in June.
During the ceremony, Borgobello proposed donating another AED device to Hillsborough Township to install at other popular parks around town.
