Hillsborough Seniors Enjoy a Day at the Farm

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ -  Adonis Basil hosted a day at the farm for hundreds of seniors at his Legend Equestrian and Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute Saturday.

The institute is the centerpiece of a sprawling 30-acre horse farm dotted with stables, pastures and riding trails at 1800 Millstone Road.

Guests were given a tour of the facilities by Basil, including a stop at the stables for a visit with two of the farm's therapy horses .

Basil, who purchased the property in December, 2015, is a licensed physical therapist, certified in several specialties. He has designed a treatment protocol that integrates the movement and motions of riding a horse to treat patients, many of whom are young children and service veterans..

The guests enjoyed a barbecue lunch, as well as a performance by the Rockettes and Rockets dance troupe.
