HILLSBOROUGH, NJ – Civic-minded students from eight central New Jersey high schools, including Hillsborough, will host a Rainbow Run April 22 at White Oak Park in Branchburg to raise funds for Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity.
Other high schools Bridgewater-Raritan, Hillsborough, Immaculata, Montgomery, North Hunterdon, Somerville, Voorhees and Watchung Hills Regional.
The second annual Rainbow Run 5K will be held between 9 a.m.-noon. The 5K is a walk or run through non-toxic, colored powder at stations throughout the course.
It will be smiles for 3.1 miles with lots of color coming your way! To register or donate to the event, visithttps://runsignup.com/habitatrainbowrun. The Rainbow Run donation is $30 per person; children ages 4-10 are $15, children ages 3 and under are free.
Registration the day of the event will begin at 8 a.m. Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity will use the funds raised to help give families in your area a safe, affordable and stable home.
White event t-shirts can be purchased the day of the Rainbow Run for $15.

For 26 years, Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity has brought people together to build homes, communities and hope in Somerset and Hunterdon counties. The organization has built 50 homes and is currently building three homes in the Somerset section of Franklin Township.
