NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Kevin McHugh and Richard Valenti of Valairco Heating and Cooling recently presented a check for $250 to Jerusha Oleksiuk of Moms Helping Moms Foundation as part of their Valairco Cares program.
Valairco launched the "Valairco Cares" campaign this past spring and is committed to donate to four different charities or nonprofits throughout their 50th year. The charities are chosen based on the desire of the general public. After tallying the nominations, Moms Helping Moms was chosen as one of the recipients.
Moms Helping Moms Foundation is a baby supply and diaper bank located in North Plainfield, NJ providing essentials, so all babies can have a safe, healthy and happy start. The organization distributes over 300,000 baby items annually to low-income families living in Somerset, Morris, Essex, Union, Warren, and Hudson counties.
Moms Helping Moms founder Bridget Cutler started Moms Helping Moms Foundation seven years ago out of her garage because she never wanted a single child to go without basics like clothes, shoes or diapers. The organization has grown significantly and currently has over 200 volunteers that give their time and resources. More information about Moms Helping Moms Foundation is available at www.momshelpingmomsfoundation.org.
