SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health on Monday reported a total of 5,307 cases of the COVID-19 9coronavirus, an increase of 18 cases overnight, along with 499 deaths since the first case was reported March 8.

Hillsborough has had a total of 531 COVID-19 cases since March, with 76 deaths.

The New Jersey Department of Health Monday reported a total of 204,107 positive cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began its spread in the state 210 days ago, and a total of 14,316 deaths during that time. There have been 3,566,304 COVID-19 tests administered in New Jersey.

00The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide is now 33,465,600 with 1,004,506 having died as a result of exposure to the coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention Monday morning.

The CDC this morning reported 209,556 COVID-19 deaths in the United States, with a total of 7,331,020 cases.

The SCDOH has confirmed the deaths of 145 Franklin Township residents; 76 in Hillsborough/Millstone; 67 in Bridgewater; 44 in Bernards Township; 37 in North Plainfield; 33 in Green Brook; 14 in Watchung; 17 in Raritan; 12 in Bound Brook; 14 in Warren; 7 in Manville; 7 in Somerville; 7 in Montgomery; 6 in Branchburg; 5 in Bedminster; 4 in Bernardsville; 3 in South Bound Brook and one in Peapack-Gladstone.

No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Far Hills, Millstone or Rocky Hill.
